台灣獲得為期兩個月的 The Cochrane Library 免費使用權限

配合 Charles Young 醫師受邀九月即將於台灣實證醫學學會2011學術年會上發表演講，台灣的所有居民將於 2011 年八月及九月獲得 The Cochrane Library 的全文免費使用權限 - Charles Young 醫師擔任 The Cochrane Library 的出版社 Wiley-Blackwell公司之副總裁與全球臨床解答部出版總監，曾任Clinical Evidence / BMJ Point Of Care主編，目前仍服務於英國St. Thomas’ Hospital。

Young 醫師名為「臨床解答與決策支持的全球性潮流 Global Trends in Clinical Solutions and Decision Support」的演講，將論述臨床解答與決策支持的歷史背景以及其與實證醫學的差異；Young 醫師同時也將探討臨床解答／決策支持與實證醫學如何攜手合作、改善患者的治療癒後，以及此等倡議的未來。

The Cochrane Library 在實證醫學界聞名之處，在於其「黃金標準」系統性回顧文獻；該等文獻遵循由 The Cochrane Collaboration 所訂下的嚴謹回顧方法。連上 www.thecochranelibrary.com 即可進入此資料庫。

2010年，台灣在 The Cochrane Library 全文使用次數排名上，是全球第六高的國家，更是亞洲國家的第一名。台灣人氣最高的回顧性論文為：
