Registration

The first step in joining the EurekAlert! Chinese community is to register as a public information officer (PIO). To qualify as a PIO, you must be employed in a communications position at a research institution, university, corporation, scientific organization or public relations firm. To register, complete the online registration form.

Subscription

A subscription to EurekAlert! Chinese can help you bring your organization's news and resources to the attention of reporters from the world's top media outlets. Benefits include posting of eligible press releases, listings in EurekAlert! Chinese's Experts Database, and more.

* For the first year, indigenous Chinese research-news sources are being invited to post an unlimited number of high-quality, news releases for free. Status as an "eligible, indigenous Chinese source" will be determined in collaboration with an advisory committee including Chinese journalism experts, and based upon factors such as the organization's primary location. NOTE — There will never be any cost to reporters or to the public to use the EurekAlert! English or EurekAlert! Chinese site. Reasonable subscription fees provided by content providers make it possible for the non-profit AAAS to maintain this free science-news service for reporters. Special Notes about Pricing PRICING — EurekAlert! Chinese reserves the right to revise its pricing policies to ensure the site's long-term existence, as needed.
